The Bayjacks are a Nashville - based band that plays Melodic Rock and Electric Blues.
Our leader is singer/songwriter/guitarist Tom Leadon (2nd from right), best known as a founding member of the band Mudcrutch, with Rock Hall of Famers (RHOF) Tom Petty, Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench of the Heartbreakers, and Randall Marsh. That group reunited to release two top-ten albums in 2008 and 2016, and toured concert halls all around America, with every show sold out. Tom has a solo video of his tribute song to Tom Petty, "My Best Old Friend", now featured on tompetty.com. Tom has also played with RHOF Linda Ronstadt, Johnny Rivers, and Silver (whose hit song "Wham Bam" was recently featured in the blockbuster movie Guardians of the Galaxy 2). Tom also had a band with Motown RHOF bassist James Jamerson and New Orleans sax player Lee Allen (Fats Domino, Little Richard) that backed Martha Reeves and blues legends Joe Turner, Lowell Fulson, Big Mama Thornton, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Lightnin' Hopkins and many others. In addition to the songs Tom wrote for the Mudcrutch albums, he co-wrote "Hollywood Waltz" for RHOF The Eagles, which was also a single for Country Hall of Famer Buck Owens. Tom has also been a very successful guitar teacher in Florida, California and Tennessee, with hundreds of students who have become good players.
On lead and rhythm guitar and harmonies is Adam Korsvik (far right), from Akron, Ohio. Adam earned a bachelor's degree in Audio Production, with a minor in Jazz Studies at Ohio University. Adam is one of the top guitar instructors in Nashville at the Nashville Music Academy. He has been playing with several notable touring and local acts since moving to Nashville a few years ago, including Devon Gilfillian, Crystal Bowersox, Marquee Mayfield and many more.
The drummer for The Bayjacks is Alexander Arzamastsev (2nd from left), who emigrated to Tennessee in the late 1990s with the Grammy-nominated country band Bering Strait, from Moscow, Russia. Before coming to the U.S., Alex played in the Russian heavy metal band, Melissa. His great versatility has kept him in demand in studios, clubs and on tours.
On bass guitar and harmony vocals is the newest Bayjack, Matt Coen (not pictured), a native of Michigan. Matt was previously the bass player and singer for Nashville club favorites, 3 1/2 Men.
